Privacy and cookies
These websites contain no advertising, forms or external JavaScript analytics tools. Displaying and protecting them does, however, require the processing of technical connection data.
Who is responsible for your data
The controller of data processed in connection with running both websites and communicating with me is Szymon Płachecki, Poland. For privacy matters and questions about your rights, you can write to szymon.plachecki@gmail.com.
Displaying and protecting the websites
I make the websites available through Cloudflare. When you open them, the infrastructure handling the connection processes your IP address and request data, such as the connection time, the address of the requested resource, browser and device details sent in headers, and information about errors or security events. The scope depends on the request and how the security measures operate.
This data is used to deliver content, maintain availability, detect failures and protect against abuse. My legal basis for processing is my legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure website — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Transmission data is technically necessary to display the website; the connection cannot be handled without it.
Sagittarius Audio’s default language
When you visit the Sagittarius Audio homepage, Cloudflare uses the approximate connection country derived from the IP address. Visits identified as coming from Poland are directed to the Polish version. This does not use your device’s precise location or an additional geolocation service.
You can change the language using EN/PL. An explicit English choice is included in the URL as ?lang=en; the Polish choice opens /pl/. This mechanism does not store cookies or browser-storage data. The connection country may differ from your actual location, for example when using a VPN.
Cookies and browser storage
The websites' own code does not store cookies or data in localStorage or sessionStorage. I do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The Space Grotesk font, images and scripts are served from the respective website; your browser does not download the font from Google Fonts.
If a security check is triggered, Cloudflare may use technical mechanisms to confirm that the check has been passed, including a cf_clearance cookie. This depends on how the protection actually operates, rather than simply opening every page. The provider's mechanisms are described in the Cloudflare cookies documentation.
Operations necessary to transmit a communication or provide a service you request do not require consent under Article 399(3) of the Polish Electronic Communications Law. You can manage cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking security mechanisms may cause checks to be repeated or restrict access.
Connection error reporting
On 30 October 2026, I disabled optional Network Error Logging (NEL) in the settings for the project's three domains. The website responses checked no longer send new NEL or Report-To headers.
A browser that previously stored this configuration may retain it until it expires (the previous configuration was valid for up to 7 days) and may continue sending error reports to Cloudflare during that time. This does not mean that logs are retained for 7 days. The mechanism is described in the NEL documentation.
When you write to me
If you send me a message, I will receive your email address, the content of your message and any other data you choose to provide. I will use this to reply and handle our correspondence, based on my legitimate interest — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. If you request specific steps before entering into a contract, the appropriate basis for the data needed for those steps will be Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Sending a message is voluntary. Without the information needed to reply, I may be unable to deal with your enquiry. Clicking the button to copy the email address only saves it to your device's clipboard; it does not send me a message or the contents of your clipboard.
Providers and transfers outside the EEA
The recipients of technical data are the hosting and security provider Cloudflare, Inc., USA, and the entities involved in providing these services. Cloudflare acts as a processor when handling data entrusted to it; for some of its own network and security operations, it also determines its own purposes for processing. These rules are described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Correspondence sent to the Gmail address provided is handled by Gmail, supplied by Google. The processing of messages and the rules for Google's services are described in Google's privacy policy. Merely viewing these websites does not establish a connection to Gmail or automatically send a message.
The providers use international infrastructure, so data may be processed outside the European Economic Area, including in the USA. The providers' documents describe the bases and safeguards used for transfers, including standard contractual clauses and participation in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where applicable. Information and the safeguards themselves are available in Cloudflare's data processing terms and the linked Google policy; you may also ask me for an explanation concerning the data for which I am responsible.
How long the data is needed
Technical data is processed for as long as needed to handle the connection, maintain and secure the services, and investigate failures or incidents. The retention period for logs and events depends on the type of service, its configuration and the provider's rules. Finishing a particular connection does not automatically delete all security events.
I retain correspondence for as long as needed to reply and conclude the matter. Certain messages may need to be kept longer to demonstrate what was agreed, comply with a legal obligation, or establish, exercise or defend specific legal claims — only to the extent necessary and for as long as justified by that purpose.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, you may request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, or restriction of processing. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Where data is processed by automated means on the basis of a contract, the right to data portability applies to the extent provided for in Article 20 GDPR.
I do not carry out advertising profiling or automated decision-making that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you. Security mechanisms may automatically assess traffic and block suspicious requests.
For matters concerning your data, contact me at the address provided. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office.
Links and changes
If you follow a regular link to another website, that operator's rules apply. If I change the websites' features or the way data is processed, I will update this notice. New tools that require consent should only be activated after that consent has been obtained.
